i love that there is glass protecting the traditional rice paper. it makes it feel much more durable and easier to dust while still giving that beautiful soft diffused glow. the burl wood base is solid and heavy

at 146cm it's the ideal height to place next to a sofa or armchair. it provides great ambient light without shining directly into your eyes when seated. the rice paper and glass diffuse it perfectly. very happy

even though it's a japanese design the clean lines and warm wood tones match my mid-century modern furniture flawlessly. the touch control is hidden nicely so it doesn't ruin the aesthetic. very pleased with this purchase

we had a dead space in the corner of our living room and the light cube filled it perfectly. at nearly 5 feet tall it has a great presence. the light filters through the rice paper so softly. absolutely love it

i didn't realize there would be an import duty added when ordering to canada which bumped the price up. the lamp is flawless though — the japanese wabi-sabi aesthetic is beautiful and the craftsmanship is top tier

the touch switch works great but it's almost too sensitive — sometimes if i brush past it while vacuuming it turns on. not a big deal though. the lamp is visually stunning and the burl wood pattern is incredibly rich
